One of my proudest projects has been launching MJ’s Mane, the first non-toxic hair relaxer created by and for Black women, offering a safer, salon-worthy alternative. More than a product, MJ’s Mane is a movement using education and science to empower Black women to care for their hair and demand better from the beauty industry.

MJ’s Mane has officially been accepted into Innovate@BU’s Accelerator Program. This exciting opportunity propels us forward as we continue creating high-performance, healthy hair solutions. With expert mentorship and new resources at our fingertips, we’re one step closer to transforming the relaxed hair industry.
